Every month, we will have a Special Ed 101 training; if you are new to special education or the state of Texas, or would just like to learn more about your responsibilities and how things should work at an ARD meeting – these meetings will be for you.

Every month, we will have IEP Review. You can sign up to bring your paperwork in and
meet with a Parent Liaison who can help you understand what it all means.
Before you come in, please ensure that you:
1. Have called and reserved time with a parent liaison;
2. Have gathered and organized ALL IEP paperwork
(Evaluations, IEP documents, IEP progress reports, etc.)
3. Have obtained a copy of It’s a New IDEA and read pg. 31 - 37
4. Read page 1 of your Procedural Safeguards document.

F2F - Katy Schedule
The Katy Chapter will be holding some daytime meetings (2nd Tues.) at 11 am at Crosspoint Community Church, 700 S. Westgreen, Katy in certain months.
